Hello, today I introduce my hometown Sendai.
Do you know Sendai? Sendai is located about 350 km north of Tokyo and it takes about 2 hours from Tokyo by bullet train. It is called “City of Trees” because there is beautiful greenery. Then, I will introduce 3 parts of its attractions.
First, Sendai is a moderate climate I like the best. Summer is not so hot and winter is not so cold, it is very comfortable to live. The comfortable environment is popular for business person, so Sendai is given high scores on many surveys.
Second, there are various tourist spots, and leisure activities. Because Sendai has diverse nature from seashores to mountains, you can enjoy sea bathing, skiing, hot spring and so on. But my favorite leisure is “Outdoor Soup Party” that is held at riverside like BBQ just in fall season. I really like and miss it!
Finally, Sendai has developed economically and is convenient to spend a fun time. It is the largest city of northeastern Japan with about one million people. Having a big commercial market is one of attraction for residents and tourists. So, it offers enough entertainment, fashion and food.
There are many attractions of Sendai that I cannot introduce. Please come and see my hometown Sendai!

Wataru,I have to say your hometown just as the same as the place where I'm living now.I'm not sure you heard Hai Nan Island before,although it's not my hometown,I love it so much because not only can you feel comfortable about the climate,but also the people there are so nice.From your blog,I can see the view of Sendai,it's a city full of forests,maybe it just like a nature heaven,right?I hope someday if I have the chance,I'll go there personally ,it's seems like a beautiful place to travel.Thank you for introduing your hometown, this blog is very important to me because I just knew a litte about Japan,now there're another city I know about Japan~haaaa, Thank you~!I hope you can get better on your blog~

your hometown Hai Nan Island also seems to be a good place! I would like to know about your city and other classmate's hometown. This blogging is not only a good way to practice writing but also get to know about many things.
I expect we can improve English writing skill and learn each other through this work.

ReplyDeleteAfter I read your blog, I clicked Sendai City Official Homapage. There are many interesting information about history, events and sightseeing and so on. Especially, I was impressed by Sendai City's environment because I like green city. Frankly speaking, Riverside is not green and I was disappointed a with Brown City when I came here. Even though I'm not emvironmentalst, I think that living in green city is blessed.
Anyway, thank you for introducing your hometown. Let's improve English skills together thtough this blog~!

Hello Wataru, I'm Mira. As you said in your post I think Sendai is a beautiful city. I just know about your city at this time, but it looks very peace and neat. I went to Fukuoka 7 years ago for a trip. It was great time, so I want to go to Japan again. Actually, I plan to travel to Japan to meet Tsumabuki Satoshi. Do you know who he is? I like him very much. Because of that I like to watch Japaness movies and dramas. Especially, his movies. I don't know where he lives, so I have to look around in every cities. At that time, I'll stop off at Sendai without forgetting. If you know where he lives then please tell me~ Anyway, once more "nice to meet you Wataru!" See you next class. Bye

ReplyDeletehi wataru,do you remember last time when you told me your hometown's name is sendai i said i knew that city,you asked me how did you know that,^^ actually i knew that city becuase of a japanese pc game,hahaha,from that game i learned a lot of japanese cities name..i think your city must be soooooooo beautiful~not like tokyo right? in tokyo ,there are many people and crowded,i think in your hometown's life step will a little bit slower than tokyo~!i love that place,someday i will visit there~
